Suddenly,Alicefeltasharppaininherhead,andshefelltotheground.Shefeltasthoughhermindwasbeingrippedapartasshewastransportedtoanotherworld.WhenAliceopenedhereyes,shesawthatshewasstandinginthemiddleofalushforest.Thetreesaroundherwerecoveredinthesameglowingleavesthatshehadbeenstudying,andshecouldhearthesoundofrushingwaterinthedistance.Asshewalkedthroughtheforest,Alicesawallsortsofmagicalcreatures.Therewerefairiesflittingaround,unicornsgrazingonthelushgrass,andevenadragonflyingoverhead.Sheknewthatshehadsomehowenteredamagicalrealm.Aliceexploredthemagicalforestforwhatfeltlikehours,marvelingateverythingthatshesaw.Shecouldn'tbelievethatshewasactuallylivinginafairytaleworld.Itwaseverythingshehadeverdreamedofandmore.

Asnightbegantofall,Alicerealizedthatsheneededtofindaplacetorest.Shefoundaclearingintheforestandmadeabedoftheglowingleaves.Asshedriftedofftosleep,shemarveledathowcomfortableandwarmtheywere.Daysturnedintoweeks,andAlicebecameapartoftheenchantedforest.Shemadefriendswiththemagicalcreaturesandlearnedtheirways.Sheevendiscoveredthatshehadmagicalpowersofherown.Butasmuchasshelovedhernewlife,Aliceknewthatshecouldn'tstayforever.Shemissedherfamilyandheroldlife.Sheneededtofindawaybacktoherworld.Alicesearchedhighandlowforawaybacktoherworld,butnothingseemedtowork.Shetriedeveryspellsheknew,butnothingseemedtohaveanyeffectontheenchantedleaves.
